Energizing Learners with Virtual Field Trips For Remote Learning
Even before the pandemic hit, virtual field trips were being utilized by educators all over the world to connect their students to experts and places they may not get to experience in their daily lives. After the pandemic, virtual connections became the necessary method of educating our students and traditional field trips were a thing of the past.
Virtual field trips came front and center as a great alternative. Though not all are created equal and there are so many options available to educators, especially now, it can be a bit daunting. Through this course, I will share what virtual field trips are, the value they can hold for your class, where you can find opportunities for your class, how you can engage your students with them, and finally even share how you can create your own.
